Upgrade from v6.0

The following installation instructions are also included with the installation package as “upgrade\readme.txt”.

Step 1. Make a backup of the current database

Step 2. Make a backup of all files in the web folder

Step 3. Install all of the DLLs with the necessary permissions on the web server

Step 4. Execute /upgrade/Convert-60-70-to-70-latest.sql on the database

Step 5. Overwrite all files in the web folder from the asp folder of the install package

Step 6. Copy over settings from setup.asp

Step 7. Copy gen-v70-image-thumbs.asp to the web root

Step 8. Browse index.asp and enter the new version 7.0 serial key, if necessary

Step 9. Browse gen-v70-image-thumbs.asp

Note: You may need to click "Process Folder" multiple times if you have a large number of images to convert.

Step 10. Delete gen-v70-image-thumbs.asp from the web site when finished

Step 11. Log into the admin control panel, select the "Setup" tab, then click [change] after the "Normal URL" setting

Note: This step causes the system to generate the site map files for the first time.
