This section allows you to view, add, and delete categories and subcategories. Click on any category link to edit its name, add a sub-category, or delete it from the database.
Note: Categories are not automatically listed in alphabetical order. It is generally recommended that no main category have more than 200 subcategories.
Changing Category Details:
Add - Add a new Category or subcategory
Edit - Edit a current category
Delete - Delete a category
Up / Down - Move category display position up or down
Insert Multiple New Categories:
Select the parent category from above list. To add main categories click the link provided in the admin control panel.
Add categories, one per line to the text box at the left.
Select insertion arrangement.
Alphabetically - Insert each new category in alphabetical order
Top of List - Place new categories at the top of the list
Bottom of List - Place new categories at the bottom of the list
